Food

The uniqueness of the Rhodopa cuisine is based on the famous Rhodopa potatoes. Everyone visiting the region must try the local specialties, such as the "patatnik" and the "klynn". Those interested in cooking can get experience the local traditions and expand their culinary knowledge by participating in the preparation of these two delicious dishes.

Patatnik
This delicious pastry is prepared with Rhodopa potatoes, grated with mint, oregano, salt, and olive oil. The potatoes are wrapped in layers of fillo dough and baked in a slow oven.

Klynn
Fresh spinach, milk, butter, and rice, rolled in fillo dough and baked in a slow oven.

Yoghurt
In the Rhodopa, yoghurt is the favorite side dish. All the meals are served with fresh, home made, 100% organic yoghurt, made the traditional way by the local farmers.

Cheverme
(The biggest culinary event of the camp!) This is what we will do for you on the last night of your stay with us. Cheverme is an experience of a lifetime. Tender lamb, spiced, and stuffed with scallions and parcely is slowly rotated over hot charcoal for about half a day. The meal is served with "Rujno Vino", along with lots of fun.

Vegetarian Dishes:
Bulgarian cuisine also includes many vegetarian dishes. Along with our vegetarian menu we provide an abundance of summer fruits and vegetables that will satisfy the most exquisite of tastes.

Pulneni Chushki (Stuffed Peppers)
Paprika peppers stuffed with feta cheese and herbs.

Yaiza po panagyurski

Welcome and enjoy!
